Who kills Calvin?

With his death 6 months away (yet still due to happen on Monday), lets have a look at the possible suspects who could kill Hollyoaks' Calvin Valentine.

MALACHY?
Malachy Fisher was Calvin's friend and colleague. However, he discovered recently that his 'friend' was having an affair with his wife Mercedes Fisher. Would this be his motive to shoot dead Calvin? Or, in the next 6 months will Calvin do something else to hurt him?

MERCEDES?
Mercedes Fishe
r is the half-sister of Calvin's wife Carmel McQueen. Despite this, Mercedes and Calvin started an affair. In the next few months, we will see Calvin get back together with Carmel - possibly devastating Mercedes. Will the jealous sister take deadly revenge on the ex-policeman?

SASHA?
Calvin's younger sister Sasha Valentine always looked up to her brother. However, if she ever found out that he could have stopped her boyfriend Warren Fox's murder, she may turn to hate him. This would be a certain twist to the storyline, and in pictures Sasha does not look too bothered that her brother has been shot and is being pulled away in an ambulance!

ZAK?
Zak Ramsey is Calvin's sister-in-law Michaela McQueen's boyfriend. Despite having little, or no, interaction with Calvin, Zak has been seen in pictures of May 2010 as being punched by Calvin. What ever for? Will Calvin do something to make Zak hate him so much he resorts to murder?

DES?
Des Townsend is Calvin's sister-in-law Jacqui McQueen's boyfriend. Although he and Calvin have had no scenes together, in the episode, and new trailer, Des is seen giving Calvin 'the evils'. We don'
t yet know much about Des, just that there is something odd with him and Gaz Bennett, but could he be holding a murderous secret?

JACQUI?

Calvin's sister-in-law Jacqui McQueen has always had a temper, a
nd would do anything for her sisters. Will Jacqui discover Calvin and sister Mercedes' affair and kill him before half-sister Carmel is hurt?

SPENCER?
Not exactly the obvious choice, but Spencer Gray might not hold back on shooting Calvin to death after the revelation of Calvin's involvement in Spencer's foster brother Warren's death.

CLARE?
Clare Devine was jailed last June for killing Warren Fox. Despite this, she may escape prison and come back - or hire - someone to kill the person who is a crucial witness in her court case - Calvin!

Calvin is killed!

Monday's extra episode of Hollyoaks will see the death of Calvin Valentine, it has been announced.

Last week it was announced that Calvin (played by Ricky Whittle) would remarry Carmel McQueen (Gemma Merna) in an episode set in May 2010. Now it has been revealed that Calvin will be shot by a mystery gunman (or woman) on the big day.

As of now, it us unknown who the killer is. However, several people are already in the frame. Those including Malachy and Mercedes Fisher, Zak Ramsey, Jake Dean, and perhaps even Clare Devine!

Whittle has been with the show since 2006, and his departure follows that of Jamie Lomas, Zoe Lister, Stuart Manning, Loui Batley, Emma Rigby and Chris Fountain, who have all quit in the past year.

Hollyoaks goes FlashForward

Hollyoaks is to make British soap history next week - by screening an episode set in the future!

On Monday, 21 December at 6.00pm, the show will feature a spe
cial episode that will flashforward the show's timeline six months to May 2010. The episode will feature the second wedding of Calvin Valentine (Ricky Whittle) and Carmel McQueen (Gemma Merna).

So what will happen in the next 6 months?
Will Zoe Carpenter die? Will Lydia Hart be sent down for Sarah Barnes and Zoe's murders? What I'm certain of is that the following characters will be on the show in May 2010:

Carmel and Calvin
Clearly, as the are remarrying, the pair will still be with us in 6 months. But has Carmel been informed of Calvin and her sister Mercedes Fisher's affair?

Sasha, Leo, Spencer, Cheryl and Lauren
The rest of the Valentine family (plus Spencer Gray and Cheryl Brady) are at the wedding. But not
all of them are happy to see the couple get hitched.

Zak and Michaela
With rumours of the pair marrying, it seems likely they are still together in 6 months. Michaela is one of Carmel's bridesmaids. Plus, Calvin is seen punching Zak! Whatever for...?

The McQueens
Theresa and Myra are the only other McQueens seen in the released pictures (apart from the ones mentioned below and above)

Jacqui and Des
In 6 months, the new couple are still together, as Des is seen breaking up the fight between Zak and Calvin. Jacqui also seems to be one of Carmel's bridesmaids.

Tony and Cindy
The newlyweds appear to still be together in 6 months, as they attend Calvin and Carmel's wedding. On one soap forum, someone even suggested that Cindy looked pregnant! However, it may just be the way she is standing.

Noticed that Hollyoaks, Strictly Come Dancing-style advert lately? Well it would also appear this is a teaser for the wedding! Which hints Malachy and Mercedes Fisher will be at the wedding, along with Kris Fisher, Rhys Ashworth and Jake Dean.

Tune in Monday at 6.00pm on Channel 4 for the flashforward episode.

Hollyoaks axes child killer plot

Hollyoaks have decided not to screen a storyline involving Loretta Jones's past, which will reveal her as a killer.

Last month it was announced that Loretta, played by Melissa Walton, had skeletons in her closet as she and her friend Chrissy had bullied another girl until her death when they were all 12. However, the storyline was criticised for apparently mimicking the tragic murder of toddler James Bulger over ten years ago. Bulger's mother Denise Fergus claimed she was "disgusted" with the plot.

Since then, Fergus has met with Channel 4 bosses to discuss the storyline. Today it was announced that the show would pull the episodes featuring the story, despite it being screened this week. Apparently, the storyline will be "re-moulded" and Lime Pictures have agreed to work with Fergus to help with future plots.

Lydia kills again?

Lydia Hart from Hollyoaks is set to kill again this New Year, as you may already know.

The lesbian previously killed ex-girlfriend Sarah Barnes during the 2nd series of Hollyoaks Later by accident. She then pinned the murder on Sarah's "ex" Zoe Carpenter. Zoe, luckily, was not sent to prison. In the coming weeks, we will see Lydia and Zoe befriend each other - and then kiss! Don't worry - Zoe is only trying to expose Lydia's lies. However, when Lydia finds this out during the New Year, she leads her to Sarah's grave - and stabs her!!!

The police arrest Lydia over the attack, and Sarah's murder after Lydia's current girlfriend Charlotte Lau tells them the truth. But the question we are all asking is - will Zoe die? Actress Zoe Lister is already set to leave in January, so it is not looking good for the blonde.

Who kills evil Archie?

So, as all EastEnders fans probably know by now, mega-villain Archie Mitchell will be killed off this Christmas (what an Xmas present). But who will kill him? So many residents have a motive, and so many of them actually would kill him!

Lets have a look at the possible suspects:

RONNIE?
Ronnie Mitchell is Archie's daughter. She hates him after he made her give up baby daughter Amy after she gave birth to her. Earlier this year, Danielle Jones (who was really Amy) died in Ronnie's arms after she revealed Archie's scheming. Ronnie is currently pregnant. However, Archie will apparently cause her to miscarry - giving her another motive. Plus, she is found cradling Archie's body as he dies in her arms, but did she kill him?

PHIL?
Archie's nephew, and also stepson, Phil Mitchell has always hated Archie, and even more when his conniving side was shown back in April. Phil's mother, and Archie's wife, Peggy Mitchell told Phil to kill Archie as revenge. Something which Phil could not do. Will Phil finally snap when Archie kicks the Mitchells out of The Vic on Christmas Eve? After all, he is seen walking towards The Vic with murder in mind, but does he get there first?

JANINE?
Janine Butcher is Archie's accomplice in trying to steal The Vic from the Mitchells, and also his fiancée. We all know Janine is only on Archie's side so she can steal the pub for herself. Previously Janine has married two men for their money - both whom have died on the wedding day! When Archie kicks Janine out after revealing he knew her plan, will the twisted widow take revenge by murdering him?

PEGGY?

Peggy Mitchell has loved Archie even before she married his brother Eric and had three children. She was elated to find Archie again in 2008, and even more when the pair married in April. However, Peggy found out that Archie was manipulative and not the man she loved all those years ago. Peggy even ordered son Phil to kill him! As the Mitchells face financial issues, Archie gains ownership of The Vic, and kicks the whole family out! Can Peggy kill the man she has loved since she was young?

JACK?
Jack Branning is Ronnie's former boyfriend, and the father of Roxy's daughter Amy. Jack hates the way Archie treats the Mitchells, despite having a hatred for them himself. On Christmas Day, alike many other suspects, Jack attacks Archie due to him causing the death of Ronnie's unborn child. Jack is a former bent-cop, and has more recently been seen dealing drugs. Do Jack's criminal actions turn to murder over the festive season?

RYAN?

Janine's lover, and right-hand man, Ryan Malloy knows how clever Archie is, and knows it will take a lot to con him. When Archie double-crosses Janine, spoiling their chances at gaining The Vic, will Ryan kill him as revenge? As previously seen, Ryan has a temper, and has even been described as the new Sean Slater, who was a killer himself. Could Ryan be the murderer?

ROXY?
The apple of Archie's eye Roxy Mitchell is Archie's youngest daughter. She has seen over that past year what her father has put the family through. Will the blonde get rid of Archie once and for all?

GLENDA?
Who? Glenda Mitchell is Archie's former wife, and mother of Ronnie and Roxy. She is due to appear in Walford in January 2010 for Archie's funeral. Glenda was forced to flee the country many years ago in order to escape Archie. Could she get her revenge on her estranged ex-husband? Perhaps she may hear about the awful things Archie has done, concerning Danielle and will kill him for her family.

The killer will be revealed during EastEnders' 25th birthday week next year in later February. Tune in to EastEnders this Christmas to see Archie meet his maker!
